If you’re LunarChick like myself (if you have Cancer Sun, Moon or Rising), you always want to have Cancer Season noted on your annual calendar.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The Sun entered Cancer on June 20th, but personally, I don’t feel Cancer season fully starting until the New Moon in Cancer comes in on July 9th and Mercury enters Cancer on the 11th. That’s when, every year like clockwork, I start retaining water, I become highly subject to mood swings, and I begin to feel not only my emotions, but the emotions of every person, puppy, baby or tree outside as well. Seriously, my Cancer Moon simply can’t take the month of July.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Cancers are the most emotionally intelligent sign of the zodiac. They have been tasked with being the “feelers” of the collective, helping us understand our emotions and learn to self-soothe and self-nurture, so we grow and don’t stay trapped in the infant energies of the first 3 signs that come before Cancer; the ego-state of Aries, the materially possessive state of Taurus or the mentally vigilant state of Gemini. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Basically, Cancers teach us that “feeling” is just as important as “doing”.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
